"Expect Success"

Alternative School

Our alternative high school program helps at-risk students recover (or accelerate) high school credit in a positive, paced environment that follows state requirements and encourages active learning.

White Mountain Institute

White Mountain Institute uses computer-assisted instruction designed to meet each student’s needs and goals. We offer our classes, which are structured in a flexible manner to encourage student participation, throughout the day. Students work at their own pace but must complete all credit recovery coursework (including testing) within their nine-week enrollment period.

Students may apply up to four WMI credits towards graduation but only one credit per academic discipline.

Enrollment Procedures

Students seeking credit-recovery enrollment at White Mountain Institute must first:

  • Discuss your credit needs with your academic counselor.
  • Fill out an enrollment application, and return it to your counselor. Don’t forget your parent's authorization!
  • Once your application is approved, pay all corresponding fees to receive your student login information.

For additional information, contact your academic counselor or our WMI office at (928) 537.6200 ext.7831.
