For your convenience, we’ve compiled a list of the questions we hear most frequently. And while we’ve tried to answer them as thoroughly and succinctly as possible, we know you might need more information. How do I enroll my child at Show Low?

We are thrilled to welcome new members to our community! Please visit our Registration page for the information about enrolling your child at one of our schools. You may also download and print a copy of the registration forms and bring the completed forms, together with the required documentation, to the main office of the school your child will attend.

Does your school offer breakfast and lunch?

We operate an excellent nutrition program at each campus. Our cafeterias serve breakfast and lunch every school day for a reasonable price. We also participate in the federal free and reduced price lunch program for those who qualify. For more information or to apply for free/reduced meals, please see our district Food Services page.

What if my child requires medication during the school day?

We will administer medication in accordance with state regulations and with physician and parental approval. Please complete our medication authorization form and bring medications in the original, labeled packaging to the front office.

Do you provide transportation services?

We are pleased to provide our students with safe, reliable transportation to and from school each day. We consider bus riding a privilege and expect all students to adhere to the rules for their own safety as well as for the safety of others. What is edLine and how do I get a username and password to use it?

EdLine is just another way we keep communication between home and school strong. It provides you with almost real time access to your child’s grades, attendance history, and other important information. To receive your log-in information, please call the front office.

What are the school hours?

Regular School Day: 8:00 a.m.–3:05 p.m.
WINN Reteach/Tutoring: 7:25 a.m.–7:55 a.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m.–1:05 p.m.
WINN Reteach/Tutoring: 7:25 a.m.–7:55 a.m.

What do I need to do if my child will be absent from school?

If your child must miss school, please call the Attendance Secretary Linda Fagotti at (928) 537.6201 on the day of his/her absence. For information about attendance requirements and what qualifies as an excused absence, please refer to our student handbook.

What if my child needs to leave school early?

Students are required to check out through the front office when leaving school for any reason, with the exception of lunch hour. If a student leaves campus without checking out in this manner, he/she will be considered ditching and disciplinary action will follow. Parents may not excuse an absence when the student does not sign out properly.

Do you enforce a dress code at Show Low?

Clothing and Grooming Regulations  

  • All clothing must be worn in such a way that it covers all skin from full shoulder down to mid-thigh
    • No revealing underwear
    • No see through fabric or holes in the shoulder to mid thigh region
    • No revealing cleavage or below armpit areas.
  • Obscene language or symbols of drugs, tobacco, alcohol, sex, violence, racial supremacy, or gang affiliation on any type of clothing, jewelry and/or the body are expressly prohibited.
    • No bandanas of any type.
  • Facial jewelry that is displayed in the triangle zone of the face (eyebrows, nose, and mouth area) must be no larger than 1/8 of an inch. 
    • No rings or loops of any type in the triangle area

Will my child have access to the Internet while on campus?

Students can access the Internet for homework and school-related research from our computer lab, library, and some classrooms under the supervision of qualified school personnel. We require all students to abide by our Acceptable Use Policy.

May my high schooler drive to and from school?

Yes, and student parking is available with a parking permit. However, students may only park on the south side of the school in the student parking lot.

How do I donate my tax credit money to the school?

All you need to do is download and print the form located on the Tax Credits page; fill it out, and get it to us. You can make your contribution in person at any of our schools, or you may mail the form to us. We’ll mail you a receipt for tax reporting purposes.

Can my student bring an electronic device?

We do not allow electronic devices in the instructional setting of Show Low High School. Teachers will confiscate the device and turn it in to the front office where the following steps will be followed:

  1. The first violation will result in the confiscation of the item for the remainder of the school day. The student may pick up the item at the end of the day.
  2. The second violation will result in the confiscation of the item for the remainder of the school day. Only a parent may pick up the item at the end of the day. 
  3. The third violation will result in the confiscation of the item for five school days. Only a parent may pick up the item at the end of the five days. 
  4. Any subsequent violation will also result in the confiscation of the item for five school days. Only a parent may pick up the item at the end of the five days.
